In april, Jordi Rebellón, the famous doctor Vilches, of Hospital Central, visited our restaurant and cooked us his favorite dish, 'escudella'. This formed the basis of a new culinary program on Barcelona Television presented by Virtu Morón. We are proud that the program selected the Sumoll to film this episode of Els famosos cuinen.
Last July every Friday we hosted a series of Jazz evenings in our restaurants. Our chef prepared 3 wonderful menus and clients enjoyed post-dinner wine and cava cocktails in our vineyards accompanied by live jazz. The evenings were an overwhelming success and attracted many famous faces from the world of theatre and music; Jordi Díaz, Miquel Plana, Pere Tàpies or Margarida Minguillón to name a few.
Gossos band member, Oriol Farré, took a break in his busy schedule, to enjoy an evening of live jazz at our restaurant Sumoll. He even improvised a few ditties himself!
